Congratulations! You’ve taken the first step toward mastering the exciting sport of fencing. We can’t wait to welcome you to our club, where you’ll receive all the guidance and support you need to become a skilled fencer.
When you arrive for your free trial, you won’t need to worry about bringing any equipment. Our club provides all the gear you need for the first few weeks, including a mask, jacket, glove, and weapon. We want to ensure that all our students have access to the necessary equipment to feel comfortable and confident while learning this sport.
Our club is conveniently located in Monrovia, just a short drive from Arcadia and Pasadena. We offer plenty of parking for our students and their families, so you won’t have to worry about finding a spot.
We recommend wearing comfortable sports shoes, sweatpants, and a long-sleeved t-shirt for your free trial. This will allow you to move freely and comfortably while practicing your fencing moves.
During your first class, our experienced coaches will work with you to teach you the basics of fencing. You’ll learn proper technique and form and have the opportunity to practice your new moves. By the end of your first class, you’ll understand what it’s like to compete in this exciting sport.
