Exciting Fencing Events on the Horizon: The Fortune Fencing Tournament Series

Are you ready for some thrilling fencing action? Mark your calendars because Fortune Fencing is delighted to announce two upcoming tournaments you wouldn’t want to miss, both to be held at the expansive Ontario Convention Center!

The first event, the Fortune Fencing ROC/RJCC/RYC & Y8, will begin on September 2nd, 2023, and run until September 4th, 2023. This exceptional tournament will feature competitions across multiple circuits, including the Regional Youth Circuit (RYC), Regional Junior and Cadet Circuit (RJCC), and the Regional Open Circuit (ROC). The competition will surely be a thrilling spectacle with seven different classifications in the mix – Y8, Y10, Y12, Y14, CDT, JNR, D1A, DV2, and VET.

The second event, the Fortune Fencing SYC/RJCC, is slated to kick off on March 22nd, 2024, and conclude on March 24th, 2024. This exciting tournament will feature Super Youth Circuit (SYC) and Regional Junior and Cadet Circuit (RJCC) competitions. Five classifications will be represented –Y8, Y10, Y12, Y14, CDT, and JNR, promising to bring together a diverse group of talented fencers.

Both tournaments will be hosted by Fortune Fencing and held at the Ontario Convention Center at 2000 E Convention Center Way, Ontario, California, within the fencing region 4. The convention center is a massive 85,000-square-foot venue with 53 grounded strips and free water stations. The center maintains rigorous cleaning and disinfection protocols, ensuring a safe and clean environment for all participants and visitors.

The Ontario Convention Center’s convenient location is an ideal venue for these events. It’s just 1.7 miles from Ontario International Airport (ONT) and within easy reach of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) at 54 miles, John Wayne Airport (SNA) at 45 miles, Long Beach Airport (LGB) at 50 miles, and major highways nearby.

Fortune Fencing is committed to providing a seamless experience to all participants. The organizers ensure that all events commence promptly within minutes after registration closes, with minimal delays before and between rounds and no-flighted events. The highly skilled Bout Committee staff work tirelessly to ensure smooth operations, with highly ranked and licensed National and International referees overseeing every match. The final bouts will be streamed live on YouTube in a multi-camera format, making them accessible to a wider audience.
