2016-17 Regional Recognition Patch Winners

USA Fencing would like to congratulate the 2016-17 Regional Recognition Patch Winners for Y10, Y12 and Y14.

The Regional Recognition Program was designed to recognize and reward accomplishments at the Regional Tournament level. Fencers who placed in the top three within their region have earned a regional patch to distinguish their success for this 2016-2017 season. With 304 unique fencers from 105 USA Fencing clubs and 37 divisions represented, this past season was truly a success.

The recent USA Fencing National Championships and July Challenge (the Summer Nationals) attracted 8,440 entrants and 4,052 fencers from 362 clubs. Billed as the world’s largest fencing tournament and USA Fencing’s marquee event, the Summer Nationals were held at The Salt Palace Convention Center in Temple, Salt Lake City, UT and included 78 individual and 6 senior team competitions. The top performing foil, epee and saber clubs at the Summer Nationals with three or more Top 8 medals are ranked in our latest post which can be found here:
